We were master hotel-hoppers! I know the heading says 11 rooms in 21 days, but really we had 12 rooms. We arrived a few days before the tour officially started and stayed in a Marriott in Amsterdam (those credit card points can really pay off!), but let's get back to the tour hotels. While David's a very heavy sleeper, I, on the other hand, am a very light sleeper and we have a king-size bed at home for that reason. Going into the tour, we thoroughly expected to be exhausted at the end of the day and to be more than ready to snuggle into a cozy bed each night. To help ensure a good night's sleep for both of us and so that we didn't end up getting on each others actual last nerve after spending 24 hours a day together for 24 days (that's 576 hours...but who's counting) we decided to request twin beds when available. This worked out very well for us, and as you can see, many of the twin beds are actually so close to each other they touch, so it was almost like having our king size bed!
Below we have pictures of 9 of the rooms...apparently, we took a vacation from photographing our rooms for vacation when we were in Cinque Terre and Paris, but those rooms looked very similar to the rest.
